Jon Denote is Senior Vice President of Firm Development at Lion Street, where he works directly with Trident Wealth Strategies to bring the resources of a national network to bear on our clients’ planning. He helps Trident expand its capabilities, access new markets and planning strategies, and draw on Lion Street’s carrier relationships and intellectual capital, so that clients benefit from institutional-level solutions delivered through a boutique advisory relationship.

Jon brings more than fifteen years of carrier-side experience from his tenure at Equitable and AXA Equitable. He began his career as an underwriter before moving into sales leadership, most recently serving as Director and Regional Vice President of Sales. That background gives him an insider’s understanding of how carriers evaluate risk, design products, and make decisions, and that perspective helps Trident advocate effectively for clients throughout the underwriting and placement process.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Jon holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation from The American College of Financial Services.
